It’s interesting isn’t it how extremist are so quick to condemn the undercover videos of James’s O Keefe and Hannah Giles, the two that exposed Acorn for what it really is, yet are quick to applaud the efforts of vegan activists that also shoot undercover footage on farms, processing plants and at rodeos. I’m Susan Allen and I’ll be back with the story. The Animal Ag Alliance has just posted an alert, warning farmers and business owners to strengthen the security of their facilities in the wake of the release of several videos exposing extreme animal abuse. Let this be said that the majority of Americas farmers and ranchers are committed to caring for livestock and land in an ethical manner typical of national animal care guidelines, and like an any industry there are always some bad apples who deserve to be exposed and punished. Yet the hypocrisy of someone who wants to stop animal cruelty but then wait months after filming an undercover video to release it , instead of immediatly reporting it, simply in order to package and market it to the press makes the activist as guilty as the abuser in my book. The Animal Ag Alliance has some valid concerns that the alleged cruelty could have been staged to gain publicity. The fact that these groups so easily infiltrate farms has government officials worried about national security and the contamination of our food supply.
